Massimo, the inventor behind Gheta, grew up immersed in the art of shoemaking. His mother ran a small shoe stitching workshop and his father owned a ski boot company. By the age of seven, Massimo had already built his first pair of shoes, a testament to his innate talent and passion.
Over the years, he became a pivotal force in his father’s company, which he now runs alongside his brother. In 2025, the family business will celebrate 40 years of craftsmanship and innovation.
Yet, Massimo’s restless spirit sought more than tradition—he craved transformation.
One night, inspiration struck like lightning. Massimo envisioned a revolutionary way to reimagine insoles, transforming them into something extraordinary: sandals.
With a unique strap system he designed and patented, Massimo brought his vision to life.
He called it Gheta.
